Spicy fett ESB WIP

So I know I don’t really get on here much anymore but for the past 9 months I have been redoing my ESB Fett looking for 501st approval and I think I’m finally just about done! Here are the before and after pics. The before pics will be outside while the new redone suit pics will be indoors. I’m open to any suggestions and please let me know what y’all think! I’m pretty stoked about this!

Awesome kit! Looks like you sorted the Nemrod holster sag. I resolved the sag on my old kit by using velcro on the back of the holster and the flight suit on my thigh. It took all of the weight off the belt. Im sure you will get approved.

I really appreciate the kind words! Ya this time around I connected the holster to the jetpack harness like they did on the original and it definitely holds up well! I’m excited to watch your build and you’re definitely off to a good start!

So here are the photos I sent in and I’m waiting for approval to hopefully finally get into the 501st and I figured I’d share them with y’all!

Hell Yeah!!! Looks great!

Slight nit-pick... there might be "too much" space from your collar front piece to the chest plates. Hopefully that does not ding you. Easy adjustment if it does. Still looks really good! :)

My ROTJ Boba is progressing. I got all the parts necessary to begin building my BigDane JP Harness.....
All Parts.jpg

But I don't wanna begin on that till I drop a little weight first. Till then, my MoW JP Harness will suffice. It's nice to have both options available to me.

In addition, I also got in on the current run for one of those fancy MiCom 2.0 units! So I'm presently in the process of looking for a low profile speaker/amp (preferably separately) that I'll be able to hide under my abdominal armor. I had a small mesh pocket sewn in place a while back and it worked great when I had my TK Products - Voice Booster (Model 1505). It worked great I thought and I like the fact that the voice seemed to be emanating from my helmet as opposed to my hip which I know a lot of folks put their speakers in the hip pocket. But after awhile of trooping I get to huffing and puffing and I sounded too much like Vader when walking around. Hahaha. So I no longer use it!
Pocket Added for Speaker.jpg

As for my Daughters Boushh build - it is coming along nicely and I should be able to debut it for the ECCC (Emerald City Comic Con) in August! I'm probably about 90% of the way there. So if you follow THAT build, I may provide an update today!

Sorry, this is your thread - I'll shut up now! But you asked - Hahaha!

But again, lots of luck to you in gaining entrance into the 501st!

Best,
-Iron

I don’t mind at all!! I’m looking at eventually getting a bigdane harness kit, the one I have is similar and I made quite a few adjustments to it so it’s not terrible but those are really nice! Love the progress man!

Thanks I really appreciate the kind words! So the reason I went with that much space is so when I put the suit on it gives that top part a scrunched up look which after pouring through hundreds of reference photos there is a pretty significant space there which varies depending on what scene you are looking at in the movie! I used actual reference photos only for this build and didn’t use the 501st CRL all that much lol
