Superjedi's FPH2 ESB for JM
Here we go! I'm getting rolling this weekend on helmet commission number 69!
This is an FPH2 kit which will be built up into a screen used ESB version.
We've got some crisp resin ear parts, and an RF stalk and Borden piece of machined aluminum.
Prepped yesterday afternoon and primed this morning. It looks so clean at this stage. But that will soon change!
I got the first color down on the back panels. Next up - stenciling and masking for the dark green.
After stenciling, liquid masking, and airbrushing, we have the familiar color breaks on the back panels. I'll refine a couple of the shapes and add the finer details with my favorite liner brushes.
We're cooking now! I got the left panel finished today.
Here's the big scrape on the right back panel. Lots of tiny details in this small area!
The right panel is finished now.
Next I'll be laying down the green on the dome and cheeks.
I got the base green down. Dome damage is on the way.
I finished the back section of the dome. It's fun doing the network of fine scratches.
Here's the next area of the dome. Next up: cat scratch!
Here's the scratch-tastic cat scratch! This is one of the most recognizable features of the ESB bucket.
Got the turn signal area done. Moving on to the dent next!
Here's the dent in all its dentliness!
Finished the top of the dome. There's quite a bit of damage up there.
I finished the remaining detail on the left side of the dome. I'll be moving on to the cheeks next!
I got the dark color blocked in on the outer cheeks.
The right cheek is finished. Moving over to the left side next.
Done with the left cheek. You know what's coming next!
