Neoprene under suit-second batch?

There is a lot of extra work that will be involved on my part- don't get me wrong, I will have a lot of stuff to work out to settle things. Full refunds require them to keep the "damaged" product and "redoing" everything from scratch, which would hinder you guys getting your material in a quick timeframe. I would rather have the material sent to you all quicker so as to help people who want their material soon, rather then have them fool with the first batch. So, I would still be "fulfilling" my end to you guys by sending you what seems like you all pretty much expected in the time frame alotted. Right? I need to know, so I can start cutting down the boxes and start working on the packing the shipment to you all, bottom line.

ZIA - I am just fine with things as is - other than all the hassle you've had over this. That makes me a little mad. So big thanks to you for putting up with this and hopefully they compensate you at least a little for the headache.

personally I am in no rush. My personal opinion is that I would rather wait for what I really wanted then to settle for less to get it sooner. Just my two cents.

I also think like Seven, I'm not in this costuming world in a rush... Most of my costumes take more than 1 year, even 2 or 3 years to be completed, (sometimes more), that means that I can wait, and I know how to wait... and I'm always looking for accuracy...

So I simply quote what Seven wrote, cause is what I think as well :$:

Can I ship you guys 60" width x 5" yards tricot custom dyed lycra, neoprene, royal blue nylon and 1 yard custom dyed lycra and be done with this? This is financially and emotionally taking a toll on me.

Flowerpot we all know "you" are not the one to blame so don't worry about that side of it please.
I'll go with with whatever you decide as you're doing us all a favour by getting it in the first place. Saves us all the hassle. So save yourself anymore hassle too.

If that's enough to make a suit, cool

Negative waves are bad waves :)

Thanks. I just am emotionally exhausted, and can't sleep at night because of this. I know it's not my fault. But anytime someone has to "make a settlement" means me having to hurry up and make a quick decision on something that took so much careful planning money, space, time, you name it and deal with repercussions from one side or the other, even though it's not my fault. Spending more time money and energy on my side that i shouldn't have to spend gets taxing. The two posts before yours makes it all the more worse on me, as I am in the middle. And, with my giving you guys a yard of extra fabric, you all are technically getting more than what you really expected. The first post indicated
You will be receiving 5 yards of tricot neoprene, exactly the same as the first run in color, but with a 60" width. Should be enough for one person.
, when you guys paid. So, can I ship you guys 60" width x 5" yards tricot custom dyed lycra, neoprene, royal blue nylon (just like the first batch) and 1 yard custom dyed lycra and is everyone else happy with that?

Lansuir666- you really got an awesome boyfriend!

I'm totally fine with that, ZIA.....but if sending the extra yard of lycra means that you're out money then I want you to tell me how much extra I owe. None of this is your fault and there is no way you should be out of pocket in an effort to resolve this. Chin up, luv.....you've done an amazing job of organizing this.

Hehehe Shhhh if you tell him that he wont be able to get his SDS lid on - his head will expand! Ohh actually tell him more maybe i can wear it when it doesnt fit him LOL 8)

Yeah ZIA Im sure everyone would be happy just with the fact that you organised this at all! 60 x 5 of blue backed custom dyed purple neoprene is a long long way better than any of us would have been able to get off of our own backs without another neoprene run. So i think we should all be greatful for something slightly more accurate than a bright purple thick wetsuit off the peg in a dive shop or a dance leotard - i am anyway :)

Doesn't matter to me how the neoprene comes in, as long as it's the proper Zam purple. By the time I get around to actually sewing it, I'll have forgotten the specifics of the original order anyway... :rolleyes

Thanks, ZIA!

Thanks, I will start cutting down the boxes and start shipping as soon as we can. Hopefully we can get at least some of the neoprene shipped by the end of next week. I don't have a truck, so they can't be shipped all at once. Anyone who has a convention deadline, please pm me.

Thanks for you hard work Yvonne!!! :)
We'll be happy with it either way.

I think I have a deadline since I'm making this suit for Raul.

I'm really sorry about the emotional drain :( Again, this is why I'm shocked the company didn't offer you a partial refund for their goof as a compensation. You should not have to be taking any financial loss on this. Is that because you have to order more nylon and pay for it yourself? I personally don't expect you to do that. Is there still extra nylon left from this dye run that we can use for our facings? I'm kind of confused? Where would it be coming from?

I have an 18 week deadline to wear the Zam - Ouch!! (just realised this myself lol)

I have to get it finnished and cleared before this time though or ill miss the cut off for the event (not sure on that date yet)
