What I did for the NME pack I did for a guy was remove the collar and replace with a metal piece, and the missile of course. I filled the lower section with bondo and countersunk a rare earth magnet in there so when I put the missile into it the customer got from DVH it would be held pretty tight by the magents

I was thinking of doing that. Does the MCR collar fit on it?

When I painted my girth belt, I once again went with the cheap acrylic craft paint from Hobby Lobby. I believe the color was brick red (ROTJ). I thinned it quite a bit and then dipped the belt into a container of the paint and the worked it into the fibers of the belt with my hands ( with rubber gloves on). This basically acted as a stain. I was happy with the results. The first belt I did I used actual colored wood stain. I got a sample can of it from a Home Depot. It worked just as well, although a little more expensive and the belt was a little stiff. I’m not sure what the results will be with spray paint, but I’m unsure if the paint will work into the fibers of the rope and it may dry quite stiff.

We are rebuilding the missile. First pic of what it looked before and after. Trimmed off the fins and sanded the fins off. Slow and steady. Picture of the wipcord and exhausts port. Next I’ll bondo and epoxy the missile and cover what needs to be covered.

By intwenothor on TDH: Northern Ireland by the British army. Pictured below is the earliest model I have found that seems to fit the bill. This one is dated 1981 but photo evidence suggests these existed in the early 70s. I have researched and largely discounted the earlier adapted models of the Mk IV Turtle helmet (a British 'Tommy' helmet in use in various forms since 1944) as having different strapping. The picuted helmet is simply a modified motorcycle helmet so similar period helmets of that nature will undoubtedly yield results. Chin cup is correct.

Also two correct vintage dental files for the whipcord.

Accurate US Divers Co belt buckle.

I was going of the Man Of War jetpack missile it’s a lot more pointier. But looking at the screen used shots it has the height but it’s not pointy. I’ll end up sanding the top part.
