Took mine about 8 weeks over the winter, really nice helmet but considerably smaller then my Fettpride.
RS are hopeless at answering emails, my last email has gone unanswered for almost 2 months.
I have a RS Fett helmet kit from 18 months ago and to be honest I dont rate it too highly.
Few in the prop business hold actual deadlines. It's definitely more of a guesstimate, but it's the nature of this thing. If it took three months then you're not doing bad. Patience is definitely a virtue in this situation,
I did list my issues with it but editied them out, didn't want to seem too harsh, but my opinion stands. There are better options out there.
Not replying to customers who have handed over hundreds of pounds is very poor too.
Afettfullofdollars painted both my helmets....Fettpride to the left the RS to the right. The RS Helmet is a perfect fit and a really nice cast ....it's only my opinion...

a lot to learn, you still have... good things come to those who wait and sometimes, that wait can be substantial for a decent product. patience is key, blowing up any prop maker via email, text or smoke signals or calling them out openly will not get your gear any faster. kick back and work on other aspects of your build to fill the time, but know with confidence, RS has been around for many years and will be around for many more, your will get your gear. these things just take time.
My TK and my Fett ROTJ bucket are RS, and they've been pretty good at getting stuff to me close to the time-frame they quoted. From looking at their Facebook page I see they're working on the (slightly past due) Scout helmets, and I did see some Fett helmets in there too. Hopefully yours is soon!
Yeah it's frustrating when prop makers don't get back to you right away, but like others said, don't take it personally, lots of customers and sometimes emails slip through the cracks.
I've always gotten a response from RS within a week or so. Most likely just don't have good news for you. They should however be responsive.

syllander is correct in what he says. It took bobamaker a little over 7 months to make and send me my helmet and armor and when I got it I was happy with the quality of his work.

I'd recommend going with a MR Premium from Animefan or go with Bobamaker. RS Props masters covers multiple costumes so I assume they will be more sporadic and busy at times than your Fett dealer but I admit my experience with RS Props master was not a good one on delivery time or product. For those curious also, BobaMaker's jet pack is a lot lighter compared to RS Props jet pack but it comes with price.
Just because a company has been around forever doesn't excuse poor communication.
