Potential Mandalorian commission

BritishMando

New Hunter
Hi guys,

I think this is posted in the correct place (if it isn’t, I apologise in advance). I’m new to the forum, so be gentle lol

I’m looking at cosplaying next as The Mandalorian, but I’m struggling to find anywhere that is doing commissions on the armoured costume in the attached pic. I understand that the tv series is still relatively new, so this is probably a big reason as to why.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or potential right direction?

Thanks!

Depends on what you mean with "commission" or if you are looking for a finished costume or a "kit" in one form or another.

I currently know of no one to got to for a completely finished ready to go build.
In terms of parts and kits, there are several prop makers who are in the process or already advanced to offer them.
bobamaker , MinuteFett and Wasted Fett come to mind.

Also take a look at this here forum section:

Lots of good info there already.

In all of this, make sure to do your research and to do lots of it.

Hope that helps!

I actually have almost all of the armor you are looking for minus the helmet, right shin and hand plates up for sale at the RPF. It's a fiberglass resin kit and will need some sanding and spot putty before painting.

Thanks for the reply. By ‘commission’ I originally meant a full costume (both the armour and the soft pieces) but after researching it more, it was clear that this isn’t possible at present as nobody is offering it.

I’ll look into those options that you gave me for the armour as that could potentially work. The trouble I have is that I’m so new to this and would potentially need the armour pieces painted, but I know of people out there that could help out with this is needs be.

Thanks again!

Reach out to LoanStar...he's on here. I know he has a full suit being offered. I just got a lot of the armor from him (being shipped) as I was unaware at the time that he was doing full suit options.
My soft parts came from BigEffectProps (B.E.P.) and SinesIndustries (S.I.)...both on Etsy. B.E.P. did the suit and S.I. did the full leather. I am very impressed with both vendors. Top notch quality and screen accurate replication. I posted some pics of the suit here. I'll take some shots of the leather and update later. Hope this helps, because...this is the way. (Yep, I said it. LOL)

Brilliant, thanks for the heads up mate. I really need to sit down and work out exactly how many pieces of soft parts that is needed to make a full Beskar suit (apart from the armour, helmet and other bits like weapons of course) as I know that there are a few layers, but how many layers is another question lol.
