In dire need of visor help

I have an NME Stalker helmet and I got a face shield from Harbor Freight. I cut it into shape and I cannot for the life of me put the mirror film tint from Lowes I got on it properly. I am now wondering if the visor is too curved as it goes down vertically to the bottom. I am going to Dragon Con and taking an 11 hour road trip to Atlanta tomorrow morning. Unless there is a quick alternative I am not sure what I can do

Anyone have any advice whatsoever?

Every time I've used mirror tint I always started with the visor flat then let it curve and then I cut it when you let it curve from flat it should equally pull the tint from the edges and not leave bubbles in the center also most tints have a solution you spray on the piece then squeegee from center out
