Im getting a rubies boba fett helmet: how can i make finder longer and can you put a wireless servo?

I'm brand new to this scene I really want to get into it. But I got questions of course. I know the rubies isn't a helmet to join a group with, it's mainly for my twitch channel. I will eventually either build my own or buy a mold/casting off of here. But nevertheless my questions are about the rangefinder for the rubies right now.

The range finder on the Rubies is molded after ESB. The stalk is also too short on the Rubies.

There's a guy who makes longer stalks especially for rubies on Etsy. Extended Replacement Rubies Boba Fett Target Helmet Stalk

I have no experience or affiliation with his shop, and havn't ever handled a rubies so have no idea if it looks like it would fit naturally. But it sounds alright from the description though, metal insert and such.
