Thanks to many that were involved with this fun and wonderful project. Most items were purchased or made right here on TDH.
To make a long story short, one of the boxes that was shipped to me never arrived from the post office. Even though it had tracking, it was dropped off at another house. Not even remotely close to my house as a matter of fact. The owners of the house called the Post Office several times to let them know that they needed to come pick up the package and deliver it to the right address....well that never happened. As it turns out, the owners go to my Church and recognized my name, they delivered the box themselves late last week. Thankfully all was well within the box. There were several items I had purchased from Tuksido (sp) from the CH.
Well enough of that. On with the pictures.
Fantastic Girth Belt and Ammo Belt with Pouches
Above are some Cruzer Child Gauntlets. Fantastic I might add. Only had to do some slight trimming so he could bend his arms and scratch his nose.
Spats and Pouches from Darth Carcinus and Knee armor from TK2280
A LSFU Child Vest with TK2280 Armor on it.
Jetpack purchased from Tuksido
Cod and Buttplate from TK2280. Blaster from Hasbro set purchased of EBay
2 styles of gloves. I went with the pair on the left with some painting.
Above is a One End helmet after sanding and priming. This actually took the most time to do. I got this helmet about 2 months ago, and finished it the day before Halloween.
Flightsuit was made by my Lovely Wife using patterns suggested by LSFU.
Blaster has been painted and weathered with info from Fettdad
Flightsuit is now weathered by me. Decals from Luckys31.
Helmet was painted with a Topical method. My Son said he wanted it to be "damaged alot", so I took the liberty to make it look like this. I know it is not screen accurate, but he wanted it this way.
More pics of the helmet.
Final product of the helmet. I ordered the Green Welders lens online. I was able to cut it out using my handy Trauma Shears. Used the T-Nut technique to hold it in place. Also used a T-Nut to hold the rangefinder, which is fully functional.
Here is His suit next to my Daughters. Both of these ended up coming out pretty nice.
Beginning to suit up.
Getting things just right.
Not exactly the pose I was hoping for, but he's definitely working it.
Getting the aim down on his Scope. Nice that the first person he aimed for was me.
Almost finished. Now he's really getting into it. Kept wanting to run to the bathroom to look at himself.
And we are done. About 15 minutes to get him dressed out. About 2 months of hard labor to get everything to fit just right.
Classic Fett Pose
Looking good in my book.
These two shared "Best Costume" at our Trunk or Treat. Daughter and Son Fett's. I think that is every mans dream in the end.
We are all dressed out for Halloween.
Well, it was a labor of love. Can't wait to have my own Boba Costume finished now. The kids keep asking if they can wear their costumes outside even today. I ended up buying them the Cheap Rubies type costumes so they could go out and play as Characters and not demolish these ones.
Looking forward to Celebration V to show these off again.
