Hi this is a post about how I finished my Jango to meet Tem once I heard he was coming to Atlanta which is local for me I decided I wanted to try to finish the costume since I had all the parts it was the perfect motivator to get started! while it wasn't perfect and I am definitely going to have to fix some things for approval and stability I would call it a great success! any tips or things you see that could use fixing or reworking please feel free to comment! :)

Nice work!! Thanks for sharing your experience. I also whipped up my costume quickly in time for Halloween this year from parts that I already had purchased over a year ago. I ended up using the pinback method for the armor which thankfully worked really well. Your costume looks amazing and I am really jealous that you got to meet the legend himself!

For a metal Westar-34 kit, your best bet might be to look on ebay for used Lead Chemist blasters from Watto's Junkyard. There might be other kits out there but that's the only recent metal version I can think of. I ended up getting a set that are installed and they are a little heavy though so I may use the plastic ones in the future when spending long days in the costume.

One thing that I noticed that nobody has pointed out is that I think that your shin guards are on the wrong side. They should have the shorter side facing out like this:

There is a part of the Kamino scene when Jango is cutting his grappling hook to let Obi-Wan fall where the shin plates are oriented the way that you have them, but then they change back to having the shorter side facing outward whenever it cuts back to him. As far as I know all other shots of Jango in AoTC have them facing like the image above.

See I like things like this.. that one scene with them flipped. That’s something I would rock, just because of that one scene

How did you stay cool? I’m meeting him at Megacon in Jango and with it being such a huge con. It’ll be a long day of trooping.

It was in November so was chilly out and I did go outside at one point to cool off but otherwise wasn't too warm of a costume need to add fans for future troops though also did get approved!
