Pistols Can the same modifications be made to the Hasbro Westar as the Rubies?

I've seen two old posts on people who painted and modified their Rubies Westar pistols by unscrewing them and adding weights and a metal rod and painting them. I am curious if the same modifications can be done to the orange and white Hasbro pistols?

You should be able to do the same mod to the white and orange ones. I believe they are both made from the same mold just a different color.
