We have heard rumors, but now it is trending: Boba Fett Spinoff Movie expected to hit 2018. I mean if anyone deserves his own movie, it is only the baddest Bounty Hunter in the Galaxy right?

Soon we have another Boba Fett option to build on! But I'm curious, who will play him or who would you like to see play him?

I hope that the reportedly turns into a no go. While I admit it would be cool to see flashbacks or glimpses of him or his deeds, I hope they leave the mystery just that.

The Mystery is a great point Syllander. I am a bit hesitant that Disney will not meet expectations or ruin our vision of what we have of Boba Fett. I guess if it is go, we can hope for the best and they do it Justice.

I'm a little torn as well. I'd like to see a good Fett film, but it would be a shame if they pooched it. It would be nice if they somehow maintained the mystery in the film, like if he doesn't' take off the helmet and we only get hints of who he might be without having it spelled out. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Yup....now I'm not sayin I wouldn't stand in line to see it lol. Just hope they develop SW from a different angle.
But if they are hell bent on making it please leave the bucket on....

I think a lot of the mystery was ruined when we found out he was a clone. I felt very short changed when that happened as it's kind of a weak plot point - more of an excuse to put him in the movie. There were rumblings about killing him off and assuming the identity ....which I could roll with, but I doubt will happen. I don't know. I've got mixed feelings. I think I'd like to see this take place after ROTJ...since these movies that go back in time end with us already knowing what the outcome is going to be.

Daniel Logan could totally play him right? He should be at a good age for it but who knows if he has got the acting chops. Between Boba Fett having the worst death and then that tacked on existence in the prequels, I can't imagine they could do worse to him. Disney has been doing a good job lately and if they are trying to do what marvel studios does for the mcu then it could be a good product. I am optimistic but I won't be an apologist if it turns out to be bad.

I like the sound of killing him off and him being some random rogue that assumed the role....that sounds doable, but probably too good to be true as they changed the voice in ESB, unless it happens just before tattoine on ROTJ ...WHICH may explain the pathetic Sarlaac death. I've solved it! Fett dyed of fever JUST after ESB! I've redeemed him. You're all welcome...

Yup. He was named Boba Fett when he originally came out as the Super Trooper...even in the Holiday Special....although my history is a bit foggy on which came out first.

From what I've read, it's always been Bossk. Fett has a history of making a fool of Bossk - taking advantage of Bossk's intellectual shortcomings
