ROTJ Armor Decals/Stickers/Templates ?

Hi all, New member here .... with an order placed for armor.

For the symbols on the chest armor, shoulder armor, and jet pack, are most painted on (using templates and liquid mask), or, made from vinyl, or made from water-slide decals ? If water-slide decals are available, I would probably prefer those.
