Due to the fact that my helmet has become somewhat popular, I decided to improve it - correct the geometry and make detachable ears.

Work is moving slowly. I don't like to do something quickly.

Thank you for your interest in the topic )

Recently I was able to make the first helmet out of gelcoat and fiberglass. I am very happy with the result, the helmet turned out light and durable.

Second gelcoat fiberglas helmet. The time to produce two days, plus a day for cutting. Without bubbles or voids, I started to use a different hardener to resin, and has a very good result.
Weight just over 700 grams.
It's the best thing I did.

Still can't post in the Cargo Hold so I'll post here.

I purchased this helmet and it arrived today, only took 10 days to ship from Russia to IL with the included standard shipping. The helmet was packed very securely, several layers of bubble wrap around the helmet. It looks even better in person, just like the pictures on this thread. Excellent communication throughout the whole process. 51362365698__C1DB6F66-53F7-4414-81E4-39595AB654E6.JPG51362364014__BA8C5651-58CA-4573-893F-74796E71BD84.JPG51363031238__A680A776-D284-4A4C-8D1F-74FABF5332D2.JPG51363069418__44B03F43-6518-40A5-8B58-90345F719CC5.JPG
