Boushh First Canon Build on a Budget!

RishhaKal

New Hunter
Hello lovely Denters,

The dream build is becoming a reality since my love @DarthMalachi666 surprised me with a Sandman Boushh helmet as a Valentines Day/anniversary present! This costume has been on my "bucket" list for quite some time.

My goal is to make this Boushh build as easy and cost effective as possible (without sacrificing quality) because college is perpetually sucking the money right out of me. I hope this is helpful for others who are looking to build Boushh on a budget!

I'm still learning the building and propmaking process (I'm more of a seamstress), but Bram has been nothing but wise, helpful, and patient with me as he teaches me some of his mad skills.

The helmet is looking glorious so far! I will post updates when I can.

Here is what we have accomplished so far:
-Lower visor area is cut out
-Some side greeblies attached
-Dent is dented
-Major face damage is done

Any comments, critiques, and wisdom from veteran Boushh builders are encouraged!

Here's to my first canon build!

Fianceé here, chiming in. Did some work while she was stuck at work (real life sucks sometimes)

I made some serious progress. I made one ear greeblie, cut out the upper forehead lens, and made a removable visor setup. Plus coated the telescope in a nice layer of silver.

The visor is mounted with two small 6mm sintra pieces, that have small bolts that have been countersunk, and were glued in with a mix of superglue and baking soda (really weird, but works amazingly well)

Also moved some damage to be more accurate.

The mouthpiece isnt mounted in yet. I have some alignment pins installed for when we eventually get to that point.

*Edit*

Had to add this picture in.
